This is one of those pictures that does not do the scene justice. I was with someone who had climbed down to the waters edge. I waited ages for them to be out of shot and this was a mistake. Without a human it is hard to see just how monumental this shot is. The waterfall is about 25m tall though here it looks smaller. This is shot from a disused railway that was built to extract resources. Gold Timber etc. The railway is really epic. Crossing huge rivers and then into the side of a cliff where this shot was taken from.
