I love this shot. How the sky seems to point at the Basilica. I suspect the more prosaic explanation is an aircraft contrail. Or of course the 'Deus ex Machina'. This was shot early morning and the mist was quite dense. The mist started to lift giving tantalising views of the Basilica. Finally the whole form of the building came into view and this was the shot.
